Head to Restaurants.com and type in a zip code to find restaurants in your area.  Chances are some of the restaurants you are interested in have gift cards available on the site at deep discounts. 

The gift cards usually come in increments of $10 to $25 but sell for around 30% of face value.  The gift cards, though, are not exactly ‘same as cash.’  Many of the gift cards have restrictions such as having to spend a certain amount before you receive any sort of discount as well as excluding alcohol at many locations.
