Searching for discounts buyers slow on Gift Cards

Hoping to save on full price buyers avoid gift cards

Following a logical chain of events, Gift Card sales for stores such as sears, home depot and all others have slowed in this rough economy. Certainly gift certificate and card sales are down for the simple reason that all sales are down, but there is another reason.

People are choosing to wait for retailers to slash prices on merchandise and then buy striat up rather than give gift cards. We suppose the same could be achieved by giving gift cards of lesser amounts but that would not look good.
