Survey confirms 9 of 10 Americans use gift cards
Gift cards may be highlight of Holiday season
A survey of 850 Americans by Chase Payment Tech confirms againg that gift card useage is massive and only getting bigger. 9 out of 10 surveyed had purchased or been given a gift card. Also 66% of the people questioned planned on purchasing a gift card in the next 12 months.
More than anything else the survey suggests that gift cards may prove to provide the one bright spot in what many suggest will be a very sparse Holiday buying season in 2008.
