New savings deal introduced with Visa Gift Cards

Visa has just annouced a new cost savings deal when you purchase a Visa gift card. This card now comes with greater flexibility in spending limits and locations. Using or giving a Visa gift card just got easier. Below are some instructions on using the Visa gift card.

How to use your card

• Using your Visa Gift card is similar to using a normal credit card. When you're ready to pay, just hand the card to the cashier and sign the purchase receipt.
• If asked, treat it like a credit card, not a debit card.
• Each time you use your card for a purchase, that amount is automatically deducted from your balance. It's recommended you know your balance at all times - merchants will not be able to provide that information.
• The Visa Gift card is non-reloadable, so additional money can't be added to the card's balance. Plus the card doesn't offer a line of credit - like a credit card. The initial value available is determined by the purchaser of the card.
• If your gift card states: Valid only in the United States on the front, it is a "Domestic Use Only card". Although your gift card will not be accepted at locations outside of the United States, it's welcome at millions of locations within the United States where Visa debit cards are accepted.
