I suspect somewhere in California someone at Apple is tasked with the job of selling iTunes gift cards to the Chinese. I can just his her boss yelling "GET IT sorted, there are billions of poeple there and they love music. Your peer selling gift cards for itunes in the US is eating your lunch!"
This person needs to quit her job and leave a note that says - listen Boss - China offers free mp3 downloads through Baidu and oh, by the way, Chinese hackers have cracked our sytem and are selling fake gift cards.
Some markets are simly not made for some products. This explains China and iTunes gift cards. It is a rough realization but it is real. Rock on iTunes and Apple just not Chinese style. But, I do bet Chinese Democracy has been downloaded a bunch from their site - so that is someting. No?
